I ordered these Novo Ovo full cover gel clear nail tips in the extra thick medium almond size to try out. These have very sturdy free edges, a very thin cuticle area, a nice apex, and some other thoughtful design features.Because the set has 14 sizes, I didn’t have any problems finding good sizes for all of my fingers. I appreciated the company included number stickers to help you label which sizes fit your fingers or which section you’ve put them. These were easy to apply using a UV solid nail glue product. They’re pre-etched at the cuticle area, which is nice. I did make a few adjustments with a file before I applied because my thumbs aren’t very symmetrical. The nail tips were easy to file to adjust that. These also have a squarer shape on the thumb cuticle nails, which is a great idea.These seemed well-made and I didn’t notice any jagged edges or malformed parts. They also have the size number on the nail bed area, which means if you want clear tips in your design, it won’t be affected by the number in there.The nail tips are very thin at the cuticle and extra sturdy at the tip. This is particularly handy for the almond shape because it’s naturally pointed at the tip, and the extra thickness there means it’s less likely to break. I don’t feel in any way they’ll break while wearing. I did blend the cuticle area with a sanding band just to make it smoother and more seamless, but the tips hardly needed any work to do this.Although I usually do gel overlays, I’m happy to also have this option to use to extend my nails if I break one or if I just want to change the shape. I do also use nail tips to practice nail art, so they never go to waste.I think the price of just under $10 for 224 nail tips is good considering the quality of the tips.
These are well made. They are thicker than the others I have used but still thin enough at the cuticle to work. I would say the thickness would be equal to if I had some builder gel under it. Which I love because I don't use builder gel but do use regular gel polish to paint and make designs then glue them on and these are great. The sizes are nice as well. The almond shape is very almond shaped and exactly what I expected.
These nail tips are fantastic! The extra thickness makes them strong and durable, and the almond shape looks beautiful and natural. I love that they come in so many sizes, making it easy to find the perfect fit. Great quality and perfect for salon-style nails at home.
Soo Beautiful Nails It's a very large quantity, strong, durable and soft. The edges are very excellent. I did not expect it to be of this quality, quantity and cheap price. I expected it to be of poor quality, but it is very beautiful. Because it is transparent, you can color it as you like. Its length is suitable and excellent, and there are different sizes. It is wonderful.
This is a nice set to use that’ll give you an alternative to wearing acrylics. The tips are very thick and sturdy with zero flimsiness. The free edge is thick and the cuticle area is seamless. The length isn’t too long either so you can still wear these comfortably every day without them slowing you down or interfering with daily activities. They look exactly like the photo and the sizing is accurate with adult sizing. The underside does have some shine to it though so they still require a light etching before use. Overall ,great quality!
