I ordered this kit because my natural nails are awful. They constantly peel and break, likely because I love to cook, bake and garden and my hands are constantly in water. I think this kit is better suited to single nail repairs vs. using them on all ten fingers. I wish the sheets were precut into nail shaped pieces that just needed a bit of trimming to fit. I’ve lost some hand dexterity due to illness and I found applying the nail repair sheets to be fiddly & frustrating, especially getting the backing off and applying them smoothly. I wasted a lot of product just getting the hang of it. I applied base coat beforehand and added builder gel and topcoat after. The end result is much stronger nails so overall I’m pleased with this product. It takes a bit of practice for successful application but the end result is worth the effort.
I wear nail strips a lot, so my nails tend to get beaten up a lot. These are really helpful to add a layer of protection so my tips don't break or tear. Allows me to keep my nice longer nail shape.
This set comes with several sheets that can be used in different ways. It does recommend a base coat and top coat for long term results that is not included. This is a solution but not particularly easy to use the first time or two. I think I am getting the hang of it. I suggest the manufacturer include their videos on their listing to help clarify the methods. There is a video link in the box but it did not work when I used it. There are directions but they are very small and I found them difficult to read.
These are great for trying to save your manicure. It obviously doesn’t fix the break, but can hold it in place until it grows out or can be fixed by a nail technician. Good to have.
I like the design and quality of the nail sheets. It helps repair cracked or broken nails. I like to use these when I break or chip my natural nails before a special occasion. It helps to bond it back together while I wait for new growth.
